Afghan With Sleeves

Materials that I used:

Red Heart Super Saver 4 ply yarn, 7- 7 ounce skeins

Crochet hook size H

Size: I am a medium build, but can easily be adjusted to fit anyone by adding a few stitches for the middle and each side.

With H hook, ch 151.

Body:

Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each remaining chain. Ch 1, turn.

Row 2: Sc in each sc across. (150 sc) Ch 3, turn. Ch 3 counts as 1 dc, now and through out the rest of the pattern.

Row 3-22: Dc in each stitch across. Ch 3, turn.

Row 23: Dc in next 31 dc, ch 18, sk 18 dc, dc in next 50 dc, ch 18, sk 18 dc, dc in remaining 32 dc. Ch 3, turn. (Openings for the sleeves have just been made.)

Row 24: Dc in each dc and each ch. (150 dc) Ch 3, turn.

Row 25-?: Dc in each dc across. Continue the dc in each dc, ch3, turn, until you reach the desired length.

Sleeves:

Row 1: Attach yarn in any dc of the opening for the sleeves. Ch 3, dc around opening evenly spacing 43 dc. Sl st to top of beginning ch 3. Ch 3, turn.

Row 2-34: Dc in each dc around, sl st to top of beg ch 3. Ch 3, turn. At end of row 34 do not ch 3. Fasten off.

Please note that you may adjust the amount of rows to get the desired length for you. Also remember that you can roll up the end of the sleeves to create a cuff.

I tried to keep the instructions easy and simple. If you discover an error, please let me know so that I can fix it.
